Q Awards - The Gigs with Russian Standard Vodka will be kicked off by Keane on Monday, 29th September with a performance that will unveil their new album, Perfect Symmetry, which will be released a fortnight later on 13th October. One of the most eloquent and emotive bands to have emerged in recent years, Keane are thrilled to be part of the launch of the 2008 Q Awards. Bloc Party will take the stage on Tuesday, 30th September at The Forum, Kentish Town, London on the back of their eagerly awaited third studio album, Intimacy, which was released digitally through BlocParty.com on August 21. The physical album will follow in October. Wednesday, 1st October sees the Sugababes take over the Forum ahead of the release of their new single 'Girls',due October 6th. The BRITS Award-winning Sugababes have been named the most successful all-female act of the 21st century in the UK, selling more than 5.5 million albums to date. On Thursday, 2nd October Razorlight bring the Q Awards: The Gigs to a spectacular close. The band will be performing a combination of hits and new songs from their highly anticipated third studio album. Razorlight's debut album Up All Night reached the summit of the UK charts and was followed by the even more successful Razorlight album, which also Number 1 and yielded the smash hit singles In The In Morning and America.
