Anastacia is an American singer-songwriter that began her career in 1999 after signing to Daylight Records. Her debut album Not That Kind was released in 2000 and with her powerful voice propelled Anastacia into the mainstream. The album was massively well received by European and Asian audiences, also reaching triple platinum status in Australia. Singles from this album included ‘I’m Outta Love’ and the title track ‘Not That Kind’ which both charted well all over Europe.

She then released her second album Freak of Nature which also proved very popular with her European fans with singles such as ‘Paid My Dues’, ‘One Day in Your Life’ and ‘Why’d You Lie to Me’.

After a slight change in direction musically, Anastacia released her self-titled third studio album in 2004, changed record labels to Mercury and began a popular tour to promote her fourth album Heavy Rotation.

Anastacia has won 78% of the awards she was nominated for, including a World Artist Award in 2009, MTV Europe Music Awards for Best Female, Best Pop and Best Song in 2004 and World Music Awards for Best-selling International Artist in 2000 and Best New Artist in 2001.

She will be releasing a number of singles this year, in the run up to her fifth album which will be out in 2012. To coincide with this she is playing a few dates in the UK this June, so keep checking back here for tickets and more announcements!
