Clare Maguire began her career with the help of social networking site MySpace. Her unique voice eventually attracted over 1.5 million hits on the rough demos she uploaded, which helped her to focus on making online contacts in the industry. After much hard work she finally appealed to producers and artists who enabled her to perform occasional guest vocals with them. Her big break was just around the corner however - she was soon able to start singing her own material after signing to record label Universal Music at the age of 20.

Writing her first song at just seven years old, Clare has never wanted to do anything else, feeling that music is a calling, rather than a career choice. Very evident in her songs and her performances, she has tried to capture the raw emotion of the music, to connect with the listener and make them feel each song in a different part of the body - the mind, the heart or even the dancing feet!

Clare Maguire has a pretty extensive tour coming up - beginning in Manchester on 25th March, she will hit most of Britain's major cities before ending in Leeds on 17th April - so there's no excuse not to see her perform!
