Disclosure - one of the biggest success stories of the year – are incredibly excited to confirm details of the next phase in their continued rise to the very top of the UKs thriving music scene.
First comes confirmation of their inclusion in the 2013 Barclaycard Mercury Prize nomination list, an accolade the Lawrence brothers are overjoyed to receive for their 250k selling debut album ‘Settle’. They’re also nominated for a Q Magazine award in the Best New Act category.
Second, is the release of their brilliant new single ‘Help Me Lose My Mind’ featuring London Grammar, which will impact on October 28th. The closing track on the album, Help Me Lose My Mind displays yet another string to the boys’ bow. A laidback, late-night anthem of Guy & Howards’ low-slung beats and glowing synths are embellished with Hannah’s emotive and distinctive vocals. Remixes will come from Paul Woolford and Pearson Sound.
And finally - after a summer of approximately 40 festival appearances and near constant tours across the world – Guy and Howard will embark on a run of sold out UK dates to close 2013 totalling 32k tickets, which sees them step up to 2 x Brixton O2 Academy shows in November.
However impressive that may be – it only gets better as they announce 4 massive shows for March 2014 in Edinburgh, Manchester and London – racking up another 20k tickets across the tour.
By the time March arrives, in London alone, Disclosure will have gone from performing to 130 intrigued faces at Dalston Roof Gardens for their debut live show to 10,500 fully-fledged fans at Alexandra Palace - in just 18 incredible months.
