Kylie Minogue entered the music industry with a bang, signing to a music contract with Mushroom Records in 1987. Her debut single ‘The Loco-Motion’ spent seven weeks at number one on the Australian music charts, selling 200,000 copies and going on to become the highest selling single of the 1980s. Her second single ‘I Should Be So Lucky’ was also massively successful, reaching number one in several countries, including the UK, Australia, and Germany. Her debut album Kylie was certified seven times platinum in the UK selling over 7.5 million copies worldwide.

Kylie Minogue has won countless awards since the beginning of her career, including BRIT Awards for Best International Female in 2002 and 2008 and NME Awards for Sexiest Women in 2008, Song of the Year for ‘Can’t Get You out of My Head’ and Best Pop Act in 2002.

She is soon to set off on tour around the US and Australia with dates from 2nd May in New York until 22nd June in Perth.
