The alt rock quintet from Florida have added a headline tour of the UK in October (support comes from The Summer Set and Natives) to a 2012 touring schedule that already involves the Slam Dunk Festival here in the UK (tickets now sold out) and performing on the Vans Warped Tour in the States.

Mayday Parade tickeets for the UK headline tour will be available on Aloud.com from 9am on Friday May 25th.

Mayday Parade will return to the U.K. this October for a 2-week headlining tour. The dates kick off October 2 in Oxford and will take the band through London, Manchester, Liverpool, Cardiff, Glasgow and more.

Mayday Parade is currently in the midst of a world tour in support of their hugely successful self-titled album.

The album debuted in the U.S. at #12 on Billboard’s Top 200 marked a career high chart position as well as career high sales numbers. The album also reached #5 on iTunes’ Album Chart on release day.

Mayday Parade first burst onto the scene with their 2007 debut A Lesson in Romantics which received immense praise from critics and fans alike. It went on to sell more than 170,000 copies and reached the Top Ten on the Billboard Heatseekers chart.
