Following his sold out UK tour and performance at the Hop Farm Festival Morrissey is to perform two additional shows in London. These extra dates will see Morrissey visit O2 Academy Brixton and London Palladium in August;

Music legend Morrissey rose to fame as front man of alternative 80s band The Smiths. He was named by NME as one of the most influential artists ever and has earned many other accolades during his 30 years in the industry.

An iconic singer and lyricist, Morrissey formed The Smiths in 1982 with Johnny Marr, eventually settling on Mike Joyce and Andy Rourke to make up the rest of the four-piece. However when The Smiths disbanded in 1987 Morrissey launched into his own solo career, releasing nine studio albums, two live albums, ten compilation albums, one EP, thirty-eight singles and six video albums in total.

He has won many awards and been praised by just about everyone in the music business, with Pitchfork Media naming him ‘one of the most singular figures in Western popular culture from the last 20 years’ and The Independent stating that ‘most pop stars have to be dead before they reach the iconic status he has reached in his lifetime’.

His tour this June will be his first since 2009 so you can be sure that he’ll put on a great performance! With Morrissey’s unique voice and trademark melancholy lyrics - often about the demise of relationships, lonely nightclubs and burdens of the past – tickets will sell out very quickly for these shows.
