Mrs Brown Trilogy of plays (there’s five) is written by and stars Brendan O’Carroll as Mrs Agnes Brown. Audiences in the North of England and Scotland first discovered Mrs Brown over ten years ago, when Mrs Brown went on to break box office records in Liverpool, Manchester, Birmingham, Newcastle, Sunderland, Glasgow and Edinburgh.

The current tour ‘Good Mourning Mrs Brown’ has amassed over 50 shows to rapturous audiences and to rave reviews with more shows continuing this December through to April 2012.

‘Mrs Brown Rides Again’ follows on the heels of ‘Good Mourning Mrs Brown’; Agnes Brown and her dysfunctional family romp their way through what seems to be the mammy’s last days at home. After hearing a plot, by her children, to have her put into a home, Agnes decides to prove them wrong by displaying a new lease of life.

However, this is not going to be as easy as it seems for along the way she must deal with a psychiatrist trying to put her in her place…or maybe away, her son’s gay partner who wants to give birth, her neighbour’s wait for a heart bypass and worst of all, a family secret that everyone seems to know except her.
