Having sold out the majority of their autumn 2011 concerts, Noah And The Whale have announced another tour in 2012. The band - whose Last Night On Earth has, since its release last spring, firmly established itself as one of the Albums of 2011, will play shows 11 shows in March/April, including one at The Royal Albert Hall.
Noah And The Whale are currently in the middle of their biggest tour so far, with dates including a show at London’s O2 Brixton Academy on October 26th.
The current dates are accompanied by Waiting For My Chance To Come, the latest single to be taken from Last Night On Earth, one of the highest selling albums of the year.
Following the current UK tour, the band heads to the US and Mexico for further dates before returning for the March 2012 tour.
Noah and the Whale are a British indie/folk group formed in London, England in 2006.

Noah and the Whale's debut album Peaceful, The World Lays Me Down was released on 11 August 2008, reached number 5 on the UK Albums Chart, and received widespread critical acclaim.
Until mid-2008 folk singer-songwriter Laura Marling was also a member of the band, performing backing vocals and appearing on their tours as much as her solo schedule would allow. However following a break up with lead vocalist Charlie Fink she departed, and inspired a new sound for the band without any female backing vocals in their second album The First Days of Spring. This album denoted a post-break up sentiment with an emotional running narrative about a break up, and was much more sombre than previous releases.
With a new, upbeat album Last Night On Earth released in March 2011 Noah and the Whale have recently completed a European tour and now they have announced their biggest ever UK tour.
The band - whose Top 10-charting third album Last Night On Earth was released in March and has so far borne two huge singles in the shape of Tonight’s The Kind Of Night and L.I.F.E.G.O.E.S.O.N., which took up residence in the Top 40 for a mightily impressive 12 straight weeks - recently completed UK dates and have headed off to the US for further headline dates, festival shows, and TV performances.
They'll be returning to the UK for a summer of festivals including Green Man, T In The Park, Reading and Leeds and Glastonbury.
