American hard rock band Papa Roach formed way back in 1993 when lead singer Jacoby Shaddix and drummer Dave Buckner met in high school. The line up currently stands at Jacoby, Jerry Horton, Tobin Esperance and Tony Palermo.

Their first major label album release was with the Infest album in 2000. This was certified as triple platinum and paved the way for their further success with 2002’s gold album Lovehatetragedy and platinum album Getting Away with Murder in 2004. To date this iconic rock band has sold over 10 million albums worldwide.

Papa Roach have been linked to many other bands and artists at the top of their game, and have toured extensively almost every year since their first appearance at the Vans Warped Tour in 2000. This was closely followed with a performance at the Anger Management Tour which also featured rapper Eminem among others. They also performed at Ozzy Osbourne’s festival Ozzfest in 2001 and have toured with artists such as Korn, Alien Ant Farm, Staind, Incubus and Disturbed to name just a few.

Their latest album Time For Annihilation was released in 2010 and was very well received by fans. Papa Roach are touring at the moment, with a string of UK dates in July this year. When they return home they have said they will immediately begin work on a new album, set for a 2012 release.
