Plain White T’s is an American pop punk band, started in 1997 in Illinois. Although releasing their debut single ‘All That We Needed’ in 2004 it wasn’t until the international success of the 2005 single ‘Hey There Delilah’ that Plain White T’s made their mark on the industry.

In 2006 Plain White T’s teamed with Motion City Soundtrack for a Winter/Spring tour, propelling them into the mainstream and enabling them to reach a higher level of success. By late 2008 the band had joined the Rock Band Live Tour with bands such as Panic! At The Disco and Dashboard Confessional.

They have won many accolades, including Best New Artist at the American Music Awards in 2007, Choice Summer Song for ‘Hey There Delilah’ at the Teen Choice Awards in the same year and Best Pop Performance by a Group for ‘Hey There Delilah’ at the Grammy Awards in 2008.

The latest album from the American five-piece is called The Wonders of the Younger and was released in December 2010. With this album vocalist and guitarist Tom Higgenson has said that they hoped to push the boundaries of their creativity and musical imagination. Although still making listeners recall their youth and the good times that come with it.
