THE INSPIRAL CARPETS Tickets
Following a summer of festival appearances Inspiral Carpets have announced that they are performing their debut album ‘Life’ for the first time in its entirety, in March on a full UK tour.
The album has been re-mastered and will be accompanied by the long awaited DVD version of their legendary G-Mex performance ‘21790’.
‘Life’ was released in 1990 and reached number 2 in the UK album charts.
Recently Inspiral Carpets released their first material in 15 years with single ‘You’re So Good For Me’. March 2012 saw reinstated founder member, Stephen Holt tour the UK with the band for the first time in 24 years.
In May the band were special guests on the Happy Mondays’ tour which was their first tour together with their original line up including a show at Manchester Arena.
Throughout 2012 the band continued to play live at several festivals over the summer culminating with a live televised performance at Old Trafford cricket ground in September during the England versus South Africa T/20 cricket match.
Apart from performing ‘Life’ in full expect a set which defined Inspiral Carpets as one of the most important British bands of their generation.
