They Might Be Giants released a brand new album called 'Nanobots. 25 unreasonable songs in 45 phenomenal minutes' and have followed it up with an intensive touring schedule.
The band is on tour for most of 2013. Across the United States a few times, an extensive tour of Australia, shows in France, and Germany, a one night stand in Canada and newly announced UK dates in November.
They Might Be Giants also have a brand new free iPhone app that streams a different song everyday, including brand new songs on Tuesdays. It also remembers the last five days of songs and links you directly to the iTunes store if the spirit moves you.
They Might Be Giants is an original band from Brooklyn, New York founded by John Flansburgh and John Linnell. TMBG writes, records and tours continuously, and has been involved in numerous television and film projects. They have an on-going audio and sometimes video podcast that is free. They have won two Grammys. The Johns are frequently joined by Dan Miller on guitar, Danny Weinkauf on bass, and Marty Beller on drums.
