Scotland’s prodigal son has announced a second night at Hampden Park Stadium in July 2022. Tickets are on sale now!
Fresh from his latest sold out UK tour, the biggest UK music tour of 2021, Gerry Cinnamon has today announced a second night at Glasgow’s Hampden Park Stadium on 17th July 2022.
After the first night (16th July 2022) sold out in a matter of hours, the hometown legend will now headline two nights at Scotland’s national stadium.
Now no stranger to iconic venues, Gerry recently played some of the biggest venues in the UK including Manchester and Birmingham Arenas, the iconic Alexandra Palace in London, and a record-breaking two nights at Belsonic Belfast. Answering the call from thousands of hometown fans who missed out on Hampden Park tickets he’ll now headline a second night ahead of the bank holiday Monday. Travis and Jake Bugg also join the Sunday bill.
Talking about the announcement, Gerry said: “Hampden round two. Finally happening. The Saturday’s been sold out for years so about time I announced an extra night. Some line-up. Some weekend.”
Last year, Gerry’s second album ‘The Bonny’ shot straight to Number 1 in the Official UK Album Charts, later becoming the third biggest selling UK album released in 2020. Two Gold certified albums, multiple gold, silver and platinum singles, and he’s achieved it all entirely independently.
