T In The Park 2016: A Weekend in Mud

The #festival season is in full swing and with that comes a lot of mud! However much we wish we could have sunny Coachella vibes, unfortunately for us that’s never going to happen…

Thanks to the glorious weather on Friday it almost softened the blow for the torrential downpour for the rest of the weekend – but not quite!

This year was T in the Park’s second year at the new site of Strathallan Castle, and after making lots of changes to the layout, this year we had high hopes!

Gracing the stage, we had the likes of James Morrison, Fun Lovin’ Criminals, Disclosure, Calvin Harris, The Stone Roses and James Bay to make the rain worth it, as well as the legendary Stiff Little Fingers, Faithless and The Lightning Seeds.

Friday’s highlights…

Sunshine, The Courteeners and Mac ‘n’ Cheese (that’s the food, not a hipster band name!) and Jesus dancing to Disclosure.

Saturday’s Highlights…

Jack Garratt, Tinie Tempah, stone baked pizza (we like food, ok?) and getting stuck in the torrential rain!

Sunday’s Highlights…

Fairground Rides, Dua Lipa, Red Hot Chili Peppers (that’s the band, not the food) and Flea doing a walking handstand across the stage.

Oh, and this dude revelling in the awesomeness of the Chilis, as well as this guy up a tower.
