Blackpool 80s Weekender – a brand new event in the North West has just been announced for 2026!
Blackpool is about to become the ultimate destination for 80s music fans in the North West, as the first Blackpool 80s Weekender takes over the iconic Winter Gardens on Friday 25th and Saturday 26th September 2026.
Spanning two unforgettable days, the event will bring together legendary artists, guest DJs, and a full-on immersive 80s experience that will have fans dancing, singing, and reminiscing all weekend long.
And the line-up has now been announced!
The Blackpool Weekender will feature headline performances from some of the decade’s most iconic acts in the Winter Gardens’ Empress Ballroom, with further acts performing in the Arena, alongside an 80s themed quiz plus further events to be announced taking place in the Pavilion.
Throughout the weekend, artists will include ABC, the masters of stylish synth-pop; Kim Wilde, the voice behind timeless hits; Haircut 100, whose infectious new wave anthems defined a generation, Go West, purveyors of smooth, danceable 80s grooves; Toyah, the punk icon with her inimitable energy; The Christians, delivering soulful, unforgettable vocals; and Hue and Cry, blending sophisticated pop and jazz sounds; plus more to be announced!
