Kasabian have announced a headline tour for October and November 2021 – their first concerts since former frontman Tom Meighan was fired from the band.

The new incarnation of Kasabian is led by band lynchpin Serge Pizzorno on vocals and guitar alongside bassist Chris Edwards and drummer Ian Matthews, with touring member Tim Carter on guitars.

Kasabian’s tour opens at Glasgow O2 Academy on Wednesday 13th October 2021 and it includes a homecoming show at Leicester De Montfort Hall before it closes with two 5,000 capacity gigs at London’s O2 Academy Brixton in early November.

Tickets go on sale at 10am on Friday 4th June.

Kasabian said in a statement: “We’re incredibly excited to announce these intimate shows. We love our band, our music and our fans too much to ever stop!

“We’ll be playing all the classic tunes plus something new for the mosh pit to bounce too. So come join us for the biggest party of 2021! See you there.”
