The UK’s largest outdoor Country, Americana and Roots festival is back!
The Long Road, returns for a seventh year to the scenic grounds of Stanford Hall, Leicestershire over the August 2026 Bank Holiday weekend.
Globally renowned country-pop favourite Maren Morris has been announced as the Sunday night headliner! Maren will be performing a UK exclusive, so get those Stetson’s at the ready as this multi-platinum powerhouse will be bringing all the hits.
Maren joins an already stellar line-up of announced artists, including multi-platinum, record-breaking star Bailey Zimmerman, who is confirmed as the Saturday night headliner, marking his first UK performance in more than two years, following his sold-out UK and European headline run in 2024.
Further new additions gracing the bill on Friday include, British country duo and CMA award winners The Shires, soul bearing next gen artist Stella Prince, UK singer-songwriter Harleymoon Kemp, Nashville honed Harper O’Neil and ‘Cowgirl Polly Pocket’ Chanel Yates.
Saturday new additions comprise of gritty country-rock artist Shaylen, London hailing Simon Howard, Aussie breakout Hayley Jensen, classic country crooner Chandler Walters, 4-piece First Time Flyers, folk-tinged songstress Emily Scott Robinson, bluegrass collective Susto Stringband, acclaimed singer-songwriter Lizzie No, UK standout Twinnie and rising artist Dawson Anderson.
It certainly doesn’t stop there, with an array of newly added Sunday stage stormers including Errol Linton, dark country duo Knucklehead, Canadian Juno Award nominee Luca Fogale, acoustic two-piece Outpost Drive, rock dynamo Dan Byrne, genre blending artist Riley Downing, breakout duo Ryan & Rory and Jonny Morgan & The Moral Support.
This announcement follows a whole host of previously revealed artists spanning multiple generations, from legendary performers to emerging artists and innovative new voices.
Iconic, 14-time GRAMMY® winner Emmylou Harris will bring timeless country and americana to the festival, as she wraps her lauded ‘European Farewell Tour’ for a special performance on Sunday 30th. Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame member, and recent inductee into the Grand Ole Opry Steve Earle will also join the lineup for a special solo acoustic performance. Breakout Floridian folk band The 502s, often called “the happiest band on Earth” will join the bill, alongside Canadian country sensation Josh Ross, who is known for his chart-topping, radio-ready hits such as the genre-bending collaboration with Akon on their countrified version of ‘Na Na Na’.
Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame member and multiple GRAMMY winning legend Jim Lauderdale is set to perform highlights from a decades-spanning career, while Shakey Graves, The Felice Brothers, Uncle Lucius, Striking Matches and Oliver Hazard will also perform across the weekend.
Additional UK based artists taking to the stage this year are Kezia Gill, The Hanging Stars, Rose Betts, Trevor Moss & Hannah-Lou and Liam Price; Price was the winner of the festival’s inaugural Homegrown Talent Contest in 2025, which will take place again at this year’s festival to showcase the current crop of new artists.
Celebrated as a true tastemaker event, The Long Road spotlights artists at every stage in their career, from powerhouse veterans to rising stars. With stages inspired by the places that shape country music – from front porches and dive bars, to miles across the Interstate, to the big-break main stage.
Beyond the music, festival-goers return to The Long Road year after year to soak up the Country lifestyle – U.S. inspired street food and American BBQ, craft beers, the Lucky Dice Classic Car & Bike show, line dancing, campfires, vintage funfair rides, the dog show and pooch parade, activities and games for families & kids, Country-oke, and more.
