More acts have been added to the sold-out tribute concert for Stone Roses and Primal Scream legend Mani.

Taking place at the 5,000-capacity Diecast venue in Manchester from 2pm on Saturday 30th May, Manichester: A Tribute to Mani is compered by Absolute Radio’s very own Andy Bush and the event is a collective celebration of Mani’s life, friendships and musical legacy.

Newly added to the bill are indie rockers Puressence as special guests, plus The Smiths drummer Mike Joyce and DJ / Back to Basics club night founder, Dave Beer.

They join a stacked bill that already boasts Damon Minchella (Ocean Colour Scene), Peter Hook (Joy Division / New Order), Zak Starkey (Mantra of the Cosmos), Aziz Ibrahim (The Stone Roses), Tom Hingley (Inspiral Carpets), Mick Rossi (Slaughter and the Dogs), Dave McCabe (The Zutons), Baz Fratelli (The Fratellis), James Walsh (Starsailor), Jon McClure (Reverend and the Makers), Dalbir ‘Tabla Jedi’ Singh (Paul Weller) Adam Ficek (Babyshambles), Alan Leach (Shed Seven), Tom Manning (Richard Ashcroft) Osian String Quartet, Danny Connors (Tom Grennan Band), Rowetta (Happy Mondays), Jon Dasilva (Haçienda), Tom Meighan (Kasabian), alongside Cast, Purple Hearts, Ultimate Stone Roses, Kowloons and further special guests.

For all the 24-hour party people out there, an official Manichester aftershow takes place at Gorilla from 11pm to 4am.

Featuring DJs and artists delivering the soundtrack and spirit of Madchester through to the early hours, tickets to the afterparty cost £30 and they’re available below.
