Indie-rock stars Gene announce they will play two dates at The Roundhouse in London in October 2026.
After a 21-year hiatus, Gene returned last year to perform three comeback shows that all sold-out within ten minutes of going on sale, including a truly triumphant night performing to 5300 fans at the Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith, where the band’s classic line-up of of Martin Rossiter (vocals), Matt James (drums), Steve Mason (guitars) and Kevin Miles (bass) delivered one of the stand-out performances of their career.
Now, after a run of dates in March, they will return to London to play The Roundhouse on Friday 9th and Saturday 10th October.
The band will be joined on both nights, by very special guests The Slow Readers Club and Rialto.
Tickets are on sale now.
“Two nights, two different sets, too many songs to fit into one evening,” says frontman Martin Rossiter. “We’ll be giving our fans everything at these very special Roundhouse dates. It’s good to be back, see you there.”
