Richard Ashcroft will be taking to the iconic Dreamland stage as part of their 2024 Summer Series this July 2024. Tickets are on sale now.
The rock icon is set to be joined at the show with support from very special guests Black Grape and Dodgy as he takes to the stage on 12th July 2024 as part of the upcoming Margate Summer Series.
As the frontman for Britain’s the Verve, Richard Ashcroft proved himself the spiritual descendent of rock & roll icons like Mick Jagger and Jim Morrison. Urban Hymns, the Verve ‘s 1997 multi-platinum-selling third album was the peak of the Wigan quartet’s international success and led to Ashcroft being named Songwriter of the Year at the 1998 Ivor Novello Awards. They disbanded in 1999, allowing Ashcroft to kickstart a solo career with three U.K. Top Three albums in a six-year period.
