Alternative rock duo The Kills is made up of American singer Alison Mosshart and British guitarist Jamie Hince. Since their beginnings in 2000 they have developed a massive fan base and released four successful studio albums.

The release of their debut album Keep on Your Mean Side in April 2003 launched The Kills into the alternative indie scene, with a couple of tracks from the album being used in films. In 2005 ‘Monkey 23’ was used in a film by Jacques Audiard and the following year ‘Wait’ was used in Children of Men.

With the recent release of their fourth studio album Blood Pressures The Kills will soon be heading off on a UK tour, starting in Manchester on 27th May and ending with a performance at Reading Festival 2011 on 27th August.
