Yorkshire metal titans Saxon have announced a UK tour for February 2027.
The concerts are the first confirmed dates of Saxon’s new Gods of Thunder World Tour, and band kick off at Wolverhampton Civic Hall on Saturday 13th February before playing Glasgow, Belfast, Manchester, Newcastle, Sheffield, Cardiff, Bristol, Southampton and London.
Making the tour extra special, Saxon will revive their legendary 30-foot mechanised Eagle for all UK and Ireland shows, apart from Cardiff due to venue restrictions.
Fans can also expect the return of Saxon’s celebrated Castles & Eagles stage production, promising one of the most spectacular live presentations in the band’s history.
Planet Rock Tickets has a 24-hour pre-sale to Saxon’s UK shows (except Belfast) that starts at 10am on Thursday 25th June. General sale follows on Friday.
“We wanted to make the Gods of Thunder UK & Ireland tour extra special,” says Biff Byford. “And what better way than to fly our beloved Saxon Eagle again… Get ready for take-off!”
The February 2027 will support the release of Saxon’s 25th studio album, which lands early next year via Silver Lining Music.
